Dear Members, I regret to inform the sad demise of Dr Gangadhar Reddy garu,AISTA Committee member yesterday after a brief illness. He was the adopted son of Late Sri Kasu Brahmananda Reddy Garu, former Chief Minister of combined AndhraPradesh stae. Sri Gangadhar Reddy garu was a renowned Opthalmologist and served as Superintendent of famous Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital. Always Cheerful He was a passionate tennis player and used to participate in AISTA tournaments in Hyderabad. A thorough gentleman with impeccable manners,Gangadhar Reddy garu was adored by all tennis players. His demise is a big loss for AISTA in particular and tennis fraternity in general. I on behalf of AISTA express heartfelt condolences to all his family members and his close friends. I pray God to bless his Soul.

Dear members, I regret to inform the sad demise of Sri. Srihari Raju, (Elder brother of Sri C. B. Raju garu) a long time member of AISTA recently. Sri. Srihari Raju garu was a cheerful person and had a great passion for Tennis. He used to participate regularly in AISTA tournaments even in his 80βs till a few years back . He passed away at a ripe age of 91. May his Soul reach Sadgathi.

Members of Peddapuram Tennis Club had a meeting today to condole the death of Sri MS Prakash, a long time member of the Club. Members have recalled the services of Sri MS Prakash rendered to the club and paid glowing tributes to him for bringing laurels by winning several tournaments in the senior Menβs category held all over the country. With the sudden passing away of Sri MS Prakash , the members felt that itβs a great loss in general to Tennis fraternity and in particular to Peddapuram Tennis club. A two minute silence was observed as a mark of respect for the departed Soul.
This is to inform all the tennis players with heavy heart that we lost following Aista & APSTPA friends in recent times.

As the AISTA secretary recieved lot of requests from various senior players in india to play AISTA Tennis Tournaments.
During the meeting held on 15/10/2019 the executive committee has decided to allow those players who give undertaking that they should not participate in the Tennis Tournaments conducted by the other Tennis associations and AISTA will not entertain any further violations of AISTA rules in this regard.The AISTA committee will act on the representations of the players from time to time.
